I needed a good lamp for a grand piano in my living room and this is perfect. It was easy to assemble and is adjustable so that I can direct the light onto the music stand. I don't know how reliable it will be as I have just received it but hopefully it will last. I chose the shade colors to go well with the room decor and it is truly beautiful.it's lovely when not lit. A good addition to my living room, which is quite formal, and for seeing my music as I play the piano.
